Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church

Project Details.

MCL Construction was the contractor of choice for Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in La Vista, Nebraska. MCL completed the new 50,000 square foot church complex in 2007 and 15,000 square foot addition in 2013.

The original church project gave Beautiful Savior the ability to operate all their programs out of one facility, including preschool and daycare, fellowship hall, offices, and kitchen. The interior boasts an elaborate narthex with wood paneling finishes, ceramic tile floors, and stained glass windows with barrel-vaulted ceilings.
The addition matches seamlessly with the existing church structure, perfectly coordinating the brick and precast features.

The interior of the addition includes a community space on the lower floor that is capable of holding large gatherings and meetings. The upper floor is used for youth worship and features acoustical ceiling tile and a premium sound system. The addition and existing church space are tied together with an open staircase with glass features.

Preschool and daycare activities continued during construction, and MCL Construction and safety professionals worked closely with the staff at Beautiful Savior to ensure a safe jobsite that would have minimal impact on church and school activities.
