MCL Construction built a new linear accelerator vault at Methodist Jennie Edmundson. As the Construction Manager and General Contractor, MCL was a trusted partner in a complex, technical healthcare project.
Careful coordination with the hospital was crucial in protecting the necessary functions of the hospital while respecting patients seeking treatment. The project included walls up to five feet thick of concrete, new control room, exam room, and storage room.
The Cancer Center at Methodist Health Jennie Edmundson is the only nationally accredited cancer center in southwest Iowa and patients may drive an hour or more each way for treatment.
