The Lauritzen Outpatient Center and Fritch Surgery Center on the Nebraska Medicine campus opened in December of 2016 and was designed by RDG Planning and Design and HOK.

Our team utilized 3D high definition laser scanning in preconstruction to identify potential safety hazards on the project site; you can read our case study here.
MCL Construction is the leading local healthcare constructor in Omaha. Now in its 30th year, MCL Construction has built or remodeled over 3 million square feet of healthcare space.

This is the sixth straight year MCL Construction has participated in the program. The home is being sold to Nyayop. She is a native of South Sudan and has lived in Omaha since 1999. Nyayop has six children. Before she could purchase the Habitat for Humanity home, she was required to contribute up to 350 hours of sweat equity on Habitat for Humanity construction sites. Habitat for Humanity of Omaha only requires a $500 down payment to close on one of their affordable loans.
"Handing over the keys and seeing the excitement and appreciation in the eyes of the family makes all of the hard work, stress, and long hours worth it," said Howe, who directed his first Builders Blitz for MCL Construction. "It is a humbling experience and one that I am honored to have been a part of."
This year's Builders Blitz is the start of a transformation for the Adams Park neighborhood. More than 20 new homes will be constructed on adjacent streets in the next two years.
