Centris Federal Credit Union officially breaks ground on its 13th branch location. Located in the Falling Waters development, the rain on the morning of June 19 was fitting for the occasion.
A large group did not let the rain and mud keep them away from the joyous event. The crowd included Centris Federal Credit Union employees, executive staff, and board members. Also attending the event were members of the West Omaha Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, and others interested in the project.
MCL Construction is the Construction Manager/General Contractor for the project and Holland Basham is the project architect. The Centris Federal Credit Union at Falling Waters will be open in the Spring of 2019.
Miller Electric Company recently expanded at its current location, 2501 St. Mary's Avenue, in Omaha, Nebraska. The two-story addition added 16,000 square feet to the 106-year-old company. MCL Construction was the general contractor for the project that took just over eight months to complete.
Visitors enter a spacious new lobby that features an accent wall paying tribute to Miller Electric's storied history that started in 1912.
It's easy to see that Miller Electric embraces the collaborative process. The new space features spacious conference rooms with the latest audio/visual technology to make meetings more interactive. There also is a large classroom and training area for employees to keep them up-to-date on the latest technologies and building practices.
The lower level of the addition features additional space for Miller Electric's field operations providing increased storage and an adjustable truck dock to load and unload material.
Ray Bruegman, President of Miller Electric, says the new addition has been extremely positive with employees. They are appreciative of the new look and it shows the company is here to stay.
