“The newly designed space is really bright and inviting. It had been 20-plus years since a major remodel had occurred in this space and it was time for a complete makeover,” said Blake Grooters, Facility Manager for Centris Federal Credit Union.
The project built by MCL Construction and designed by Holland Basham Architects includes a new call center to provide customer service solutions for Centris's members.
“It is a happy and fun environment that uses the latest in call center technology. Rather than a converted room we now have a call center space that was designed to meet our members’ needs today and into the future. It was also designed with our employees in mind to be ergonomic with the standing desks, white noise that reduces stress created from being in this environment, and a proper training space for onboarding employees who will work in this growing area,” said Ann Helm, Centris Senior Vice President.
Centris Federal Credit Union remained open during construction. The project was completed in phases to minimize the impact on members and employees.
“Seth Holstein was our site superintendent who communicated with me and the branch manager every step of the way,” Grooters said. “He worked to mitigate noise levels during normal business hours often working before or after the time that credit union members would be present. Construction is messy, and Seth and his crew worked to reduce the amount of dust in member contact areas as well as employee work areas.”
