The Child Saving Institute (CSI) recognizes the employees of MCL Construction at its yearly Board of Directors luncheon with the Corporate Stewardship Award.
"MCL Construction is the reason kids at CSI have a beautiful place to come and learn and be supported each and every day. MCL is the construction company that built our building, and they have continued to support CSI over the years by providing invaluable advice, direction, and assistance with the agency’s facilities and properties," said CSI President and CEO Peg Harriott.
MCL Construction has supported Child Saving Institute for over a decade in several different capacities, assisting with facilities, Touch-A-Truck, the annual golf outing, and Cabaret.
"MCL has discounted and often donated labor and materials for projects including the playground gazebo, garden fence, and planters. Without MCL, we would not be able to provide for kids with an excellent facility that fosters their growth, development, and happiness," added Harriott.
MCL Construction President Bob Carlisle said the recognition humbles him and views the company’s support of CSI as a calling.
"We have a responsibility to respond to the cry of a child," said Carlisle. "Child Saving Institute has so many excellent services that have a positive impact on a significant number of kids and families. It's our wish that even more companies and people get involved."
