"This is our fourth office in roughly eight years; our team is super excited about the space," said Dan Houghton, co-founder of Buildertrend.
"I believe it validates the hard work that everyone has put in over the years and the space reflects our culture. Overall, the response has been overwhelmingly positive from our team and outsiders that have come to visit us."
It's easy to be impressed from the moment you walk in the door: a spacious and colorful lobby with modern furniture and huge video wall, a breakroom that resembles a Millennial Club-Med with video games, bean bag toss, ping-pong, and a fully stocked bar. Oh, and let's not forget about the golf putting greens located in the office areas. There is actual work getting done with numerous conference and breakout rooms to go along with the open office concept for the company's 300 employees.
"We built out the space to make it extremely comfortable for the current team’s size and allows for major growth down the road. Our open work environment with shared common areas is key for our growth plan," added Houghton. A growth plan that Houghton says could reach as many as 800 employees in the future.
