"This award is given to individuals, groups, or businesses that take extraordinary steps to donate supplies to help Methodist deliver The Meaning of Care," said Foundation President and CEO Tracy Madden-McMahon
MCL Construction designed and constructed COVID-19 testing booths that give healthcare workers a safe and sterile environment. The enclosures are mobile so that they can be transported easily to different parts of the hospital.
"This pandemic is like nothing I have ever seen before," said MCL Construction Project Manager Tom Carlisle, who leads the MCL Methodist Hospital team. "This was a team effort, not just with our employees, but our building partners who call Methodist Hospital home. We are a big family."
The MCL team included:
- Tom Carlisle
- Mark Kidder
- Nick Brim
- Rob Nielsen
- Shawn Post
- Jay Pabian
- Casey Graham
Madden-McMahon added, "Keeping our front line healthcare workers safe is essential and we are beyond grateful for partners who go above and beyond. The plexiglass booths built and donated by MCL Construction will protect our caregivers and help save lives."
