Healthcare made more accessible.
Methodist Health System is expanding their reach for patients with the addition of a new, first-of-its-kind centralized urgent care in Aksarben Village. The new clinic is the first stand-alone urgent care for Methodist built with a focus on patients with minor medical needs. Strategically located in Aksarben, Methodist understands that injury or illness is unpredictable and when it hits, patients want to seek close, professional help.
“For patients in and around central Omaha, this new urgent care location helps take the guesswork out of where to turn for accessible quality care,” said Michael Ortmeier, Senior Director of Clinic Operations for Methodist Health System.
The new clinic is located at 6700 Mercy Road, Suite 109. The 2,300 square foot facility includes six exam rooms, a nurse’s station, clean room, and a large reception area and waiting room.
Before this new clinic, each of their urgent care clinics was attached to larger Methodist Medical Centers. The 2,300 square foot facility is open and designed specifically for urgent, minor health needs.
