Gateway Elementary is state-of-the-art from design to construction.  The project is certified USGBC LEED Silver.  There are gardens on site that are irrigated by rainwater that drains from the roof of the building into a cistern.  This gives students a hands-on opportunity to learn about conservation as well as sustainability.

Gateway Elementary features 38 classrooms, art and vocal music rooms, an open library with stunning views overlooking the property, and a full gymnasium.  Throughout the two-story structure, you will find unique building elements, features, and finishes.

Also included is a full kitchen that will be a central catering facility that makes hot meals for nine other schools in the district.
