MCL Construction has successfully completed a significant expansion and renovation project at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Kearney, Nebraska, enhancing the church's facilities to better serve its congregation and community.

The $3.3 million project, which broke ground in April 2023, introduced a new Narthex—a welcoming space that serves as a transitional area for parishioners and visitors. This addition not only provides a gathering space but also plays a vital role in various church ceremonies, including Masses, funerals, and weddings. 

​Beyond the Narthex, the renovation relocated church offices from the basement to the main floor, enhancing accessibility and functionality. The vacated basement space was repurposed to include additional classrooms and a new preschool classroom, reflecting the church's commitment to education and youth engagement.
