Project Details.

MCL Construction completed a multi-phased project at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Omaha, Nebraska.

The renovation of the existing mechanical and electrical systems was needed, in addition to incorporating new systems into the entire scope of the project.  A new balcony was added to the church for more seating in the growing parish.  This balcony matches perfectly with the lower level woodwork and gives the appearance it has been part of the church since day one.  The balcony addition allowed for the renovation and addition of the entryway that is also used for community gathering space.  Custom woodwork and tile floors are some of the unique features in the entryway.

Also part of this project was the construction of a second floor over the existing gymnasium which allowed for the addition of a new library, resource center, and classrooms.  Once this work was completed, MCL Construction completed the addition of a new school gymnasium that serves a number of functions for school and parish activities.

This project was completed with the church and school remaining operational with minimal delays and disruptions to activities and classes.  This was achieved through collaboration, coordination, and communication with the entire project team.
