POSITION: Temporary HR Administrator
REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources CLASSIFICATION: Temporary LOCATION: Omaha, NE MCL Construction is looking to fill a temporary HR Administrator position to cover a maternity leave. This position is anticipated to start in early January 2020 and last through the end of April 2020. This is an ideal position for someone who has extensive Human Resources experience. You might be retired or not currently working and looking for a temporary job of several months. Job Duties: • Administration of new employee onboarding and paperwork • Administration of employee enrollment and changes in benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, supplemental and 401(k) • Reconcile and process insurance carrier invoices • Assist in the recruiting process by posting job openings, administering assessments, and setting up interviews for hiring managers • Administration of terminating employee process including COBRA notification and tracking • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Thorough and accurate in all aspects of assigned duties • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines • Proficient in Microsoft environment (Word, Outlook, Excel) • Required to keep information confidential Experience and Education: • Previous experience working in a Human Resources environment with exposure to a wide variety of HR-related duties • A degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred but not required |
