UNMC renovated their existing dental clinic to improve their mission of providing extraordinary care. MCL Construction was selected as the Construction Manager and General Contractor for the two-phase project.
Breaking the project into two phases, in conjunction with careful coordination with the UNMC, MCL was able to keep the clinic open and functional. The first phase consisted of upgrades to the existing exam rooms, new locker room, break room, offices, lab, and sterile room. The second phase consisted of exam room upgrades, a new conference room, bathroom, upgraded x-ray room, staff workroom, and new reception.
MCL's history in healthcare proved to be essential when reworking medical gasses and electrical systems in an active healthcare construction site.
