MCL Construction was trusted to complete a complex, technically renovation of the MRI room at the University of Nebraska Medicine.
The project consisted of a complete demolition of the existing MRI room and reconstruction to meet the requirements of the new MRI technology. MCL needed to replace to magnetic and RF shielding, quench vent, all of the mechanical equipment. chilled water supply and return lines, hear exchanger, casework, flooring and finishes. MCL was rewuired to create temporary openings in public corridor and penitent care areas to extract the existing MRI and deliver the new machine.
The project was completed around existing MRI rooms and patient care areas. MCL needed to work closely with the hospital so construction would not interrupt hospital functions.
