The Videographer is produces high-quality video content that communicates MCL Construction's message, both internally and externally. These videos will showcase who our company is to enhance its online presence and visibility. The Videographer will work closely with dynamic individuals from each division to conceptualize, shoot, and edit videos that align with the company's overall strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Dream up and spend your day with our team through video shoots for various corporate projects, including product launches, corporate events, interviews, training videos, and promotional materials.
Qualification and Competencies Proven experience as a videographer with a strong portfolio of corporate and commercial video projects. Demonstrated expertise in operating professional video equipment, editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Premier Pro), and audio recording tools. The ability to convey a compelling visual narrative through a keen eye for composition.
Education A bachelor's degree or equivalent in videography, film production, communications, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience and an exceptional portfolio will also be considered. Language Skills Ability to read, write and interpret technically. Must be able to effectively communicate with others through written and oral communication. Must be able to maintain a customer service mindset and present ideas with knowledge and authority. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve problems and address employee concerns while dealing with various variables in situations where limited supervision is provided. Computer Skills Maintain databases and ensure information is up to date and accurate. General knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite products. The ability to use construction-specific technology (Procore, Bluebeam, Scheduling Tools, HRIS, etc.) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable with the company driver policy. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk, hear, reaches with hands, and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch or crawl. The employee is required to drive to construction work sites other than the main office location. The employee may be required to lift 40-50 pounds. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is a typical office setting unless at a construction site with equipment and occasional loud tools. This position is an office and field position which is required to visit active construction sites. Conditions of Employment Employee is required to meet the above qualifications, tasks, frequencies, and safety requirements. Approval of pre-employment reference and background checks, and post-offer drug/alcohol testing with fit for duty (if applicable) are required as conditions of employment.
