POSITION: Warehouse & Equipment Manager
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR of Field Operations
CLASSIFICATION: Fulltime, Exempt

GENERAL SUMMARY
​MCL Construction, a 32+ year general contractor based in Omaha, NE and specializing in commercial construction, is seeking a Warehouse & Equipment Manager. The position is responsible for the management of warehouse, shop, equipment, tools, and materials functions; and also includes administration of equipment and tools tracking, equipment maintenance and repairs, and internal billings/charges process and system.
Job duties include:
  • Manage warehouse/shop staff including warehouse staff and drivers
  • Comply with and enforce all company safety standards, and ensure warehouse/shop is kept clean and orderly
  • Manage warehouse functions including:  order materials, tools, and supplies; storage of equipment, materials, tools, and supplies; supervise accurate and timely fulfillment of orders for our project locations
  • Accurately track company tools, equipment, materials and supplies
  • Accurate and timely billings/charges to internal clients/projects
  • Work effectively with third-party equipment rental companies when required
  • Manage company equipment maintenance program
  • Analyze warehouse/shop activities and functions and make recommendations to improve and optimize performance
  • Utilize warehouse and other software systems to optimally manage job duties

  • Experience as a manager/supervisor of two or more employees
  • Excellent computer and systems skills
  • Excellent Office software stills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Construction or mechanical background is preferred including a working knowledge of equipment, tools, materials, and supplies
  • Warehouse/shop background is a benefit
  • History utilizing warehouse-type software is a benefit
  • Works well in a team environment.  Respectful of staff, co-workers, and third parties
 
Education/Experience:
High school diploma required.  Two or four year college degree is not required but could be in multiple disciplines including business, construction, systems, or other technical discipline.  Three or more years’ management experience in a warehouse/shop environment is required.
