When Bob Carlisle was 18, he made a decision that would have haunted most people for life; he quit college after a single semester. Neither Carlisle’s heart nor his head was in school. Instead, the lifelong Omaha boy wanted to go back to work at the Omaha Country Club – a place that had been a second home to him since the age of 11, when he learned to caddy at his father’s suggestion.
