The world today runs on data. The more we know, the better decisions we can make. Data can be intimidating and downright scary at times. It's almost like you need a mad scientist to keep track of all the information that technology captures. Or better yet, a data scientist!
At MCL Construction, relationships with our clients and our employees are what set us apart. They help us deliver your project on time and on budget and help us hire and retain the best team. Sometimes, you can hit that spark right away, sometimes it can take years. For us it is a marathon, not a sprint.
Surprises are the last thing you want to encounter on a construction project. The best way you can have a great building experience is to be involved from the very beginning. This way you know you are getting exactly what you want.
For more than 20 years, the Stone Creek Clubhouse was a double-wide trailer with enough room for a small bar and kitchen, a pro shop, and limited seating. Last May, MCL Construction and design partner BVH Architecture completed a new 3,800 square foot clubhouse that more than doubles the trailer’s size and is fully equipped with everything their guests may need and more.
COVID-19 has challenged us as a business, as project owners, and as a community. Rather than submitting to those challenges and accepting the gaps it could create in your building experience, MCL Construction implemented new, innovative ways to bridge those gaps.
Before any project is complete and keys are turned over to project owners, MCL Construction conducts a series of quality checks to catch any detail that was left unfinished or not up to our standards. In our business, we call it a punch list.
All that was left was the finishing touch.
You won’t find MCL employees on a job site without Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Our hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses, bright shirts, and steel-toed boots may look like a uniform but, to us, it’s much more than that. This gear prevents injury and helps ensure that every employee leaves a job site in the same or better condition than when they arrived.
Your college career fair looks a little different this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. Booths are online and connecting with different businesses through this platform is different than what you’re used to.
It’s new for us, too. To help make things a little more comfortable on your end, our Human Resources team put together a list of tips that will help make your conversation meaningful, impactful, and help you stand out, even if it is through a computer screen.
MCL Construction uses many voices from within and outside the company to give informed advice, opinions, and techniques about construction methods, innovation, and technology.
