It’s a brand-new era for the building at 601 Galvin Road in Bellevue, Nebraska. The former Shopko is now a document processing and imaging center for Physicians Mutual.
Physicians Mutual celebrated the new facility with a ribbon-cutting Wednesday afternoon. The newly renovated 65,760 square foot office provides employees with more room, increases office efficiency, and will bring opportunity to the city of Bellevue. Physicians Mutual plans to add more jobs to the field with the addition of this new building.
“We re-engineered the entire building and are now able to develop a custom workflow that we weren’t able to do in the previous facility,” said Howard Daubert, Senior Vice President of Corporate Services and Technology.
MCL Construction was selected to gut and renovate the exciting building. In just six months, MCL completed the project adding a new secure entrance and reception area, new offices, a conference room, break room, open office for workstations, new lighting, HVAC modifications, data cabling, and a new roof.
“It only made sense to use MCL,” said Daubert. “We just brought Evan (MCL Project Manager Dwyer) out here and sat down and said here is our vision and this is what we need to do, and it happened.”
Building with MCL means building lasting relationships. Physicians Mutual is a valued partner and we look forward to seeing their growth with the addition of the new building.
